This is not due to lockdown but absolute mismanagement. Even in normal days if for example PIA or Pakistan Railways anounce they are going to stop service without any planning after 3 days then you will see chaos everywhere.
Sooner or later they are going to go for lockdown and more they delay it, longer it will take them to clean the mess and more expensive it would be.
People should understand difference between a lockdown and a curfew. No sane person is demanding a curfew but a lockdown where if one has no legitimate reason to go out then he should stay at home and that is what UK is doing right now and about 90% population is fully complying with it

I think it has been explained pretty well why it is not possible and unless you are China containing people indoors is NOT possible!

Why not? I have heard about people implementing social distancing and staying at home in Pakistan while some here in UK did not give a flying duck about it and UK has to come up with a lockdown to implement social distancing by force (which is the only possible way at the moment to contain the virus)
Only reason PM Khan is reluctant to implement it is due to the daily wagers and poor people of the country. Otherwise it could have been done with a lot of ease had they decided way before to prepare for it
I would not blame them fully for this as they did not think Pakistan would get this virus from Iran as all their focus was on China at that time but still it is not too late
