KP minister revelation dismisses 350 dams claim

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister for energy Thursday revealed that it was actually 350 small power projects being set up in the province and not ‘small dams’ as claimed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan.

Khan, during his visit to Swat in April this year, had announced that the province would not face power outage in the province as 350 small dams are being constructed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Atif Khan, the provincial minister for energy, said: “They are not small dams but mini power projects.”

The small power projects are being installed that would generate 35 megawatts electricity, the minister concluded. -Samaa

Imran khan, and other PTI speakers should educate the people about the TAX system.How the tax is collected and where that money is spent? More than 90 percent of people of Pakistan think that government just print and make money, as much as it is needed. The story is quite opposite. The tax money is collected from the people when they buy anything from market, pay electricity bills, buy mobile phone cards, petrol, diesel, tooth brush, egg, shoes, clothes, everything.
The pocket of people of Pakistan pay the salary of policemen, DCs, judges, MPAs, prime minister, president, senators,school teacher, every government employee.They buy cars, maintained buildings, hospitals, make roads etc on that money.
That tax money should be utilized very carefully. Every one should be countable and answerable for the expenditure of that money. I hope this message will reach to the ears of PTI Speakers and each of us will share this message as much as possible and each of us will try to educate the masses about tax system and expenditure of this important money.
