[FONT="]What Nawaz Sharif said on the floor of the assembly, their lawyer said today that it was a "political move". Article 191 of the constitution says that the prime minister is accountable and answerable to the public. Till date, all recordings of the Sharif family say that they have no properties abroad. But investigations began and due to extreme pressure on the sharif family, it is now shown that their claims of having all the documentation of their money trails do not exist at all. This is what their lawyers told the Supreme Court today. The 25 lakh Dirham loss making gulf steel company that they used as the basis of their company for their businesses worth billions was apparently saved by some saviour and that entire difference taken up by them. Here poor people don't get 1000 rupees to save them, someone came and rescued them in millions and billions? Where did this money come from and how was it procured? And now they are saying that they have no documentation and the entire business was done on "parchis"?[/FONT]
[FONT="]We have asked the courts to give us two days to deliberate over this. The entire nation wants speedy justice and a quick verdict. We will examine the TORs of the commission they are proposing; however all the institutions (NAB, FIA etc) that are supposed to investigate are all under Nawaz Sharif so by law and the right thing to do would be for him to resign otherwise how will the investigations be free and open? This is how real democracies function; even if a train accident happens in the west the railway minister resigns as investigations happens. We will sit and deliberate, the Supreme Court has not made a final decision on the commission as yet and day after tomorrow we will give them our point of view.
Nawaz Sharifs lawyers failed to answer even a single question that the courts have regarding the Panama papers; they refused to prove Nawaz Sharif as clean from these massive cases of corruption. In the courts of the people of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif has been proven guilty. The onus of proof too is on the Sharifs now; the courts have simply given them some more time to present their case if they even have one.
The papers they have given, with the company Nelson on it... they have said that these documents need to be verified. The findings of the commission if the case goes that way will come in front of a 5 member bench of the Supreme Court who will then make the final decision. So far a decision on the commission has not been made.
