Imran Khan must forget that he is playing a cricket match; it is the dirtiest politics of Pakistan.

Imran Khan has for once for all forget that he is playing in cricket match to win the world cup but remember that he is fighting against probably the dirtiest, filthiest, most dishonest, insincere, duplicitous, lying and criminal minded politicians in the world. He has to change his approach when he deals with his opponents but also with members of his own team and those in the party because he should always be careful who would stab him in the back when he is not looking. It is always a fact that you are hurt more by those who you consider to be your friends, dear ones and confidants because they know your secrets and weaknesses.

First lesson for Imran Khan should be not to trust any one on his/her face value and become more assertive when dealing with his team. He should most certainly consult his senior members and the think tank of the party but reserve his opinion and judgement until a collective consensus is formed. As I have said ina post some where else that he should learn to speak Pushtoo and learn Quranic ayats in Arabic to quote frequently in his public addresses. He should also instruct and recommend his senior members to do the same so that PTI is not viewed by Pakistani masses as a party of solely semi-educated, youth and secular minded professionals. I believe that it is essential that this misconception must be removed from the electorate minds.

His first order must go to KPK chief minister to either tighten his belt and perform well or leave if he is not capable. Imran Khan should also refrain from involving in litigation dramas with fat mullahs, fugitive leader and others and keep his nose away where it stinks bad and obnoxious. Imran Khan is an honest man and that is widely recognized in public, and he should keep this image intact.

Politics Is a dirty game. Everyone knows that. Imran Khan acts like its something new. Imran Khan is 60 years old. You cannot teach an old horse new tricks. ;) Whatever he is, however he is, he just is. He cannot change anymore. He cannot improve anymore.

He is not an eloquent orator like Tahir Ul Qadri is. I am not a fan of mr Qadri btw. But he has proper command of speech. Imran Khan just doesn't ring any bells when he speaks. I mean, its not really his fault. Some men are just the way they are. This is why I keep saying if Pakistan had half a decent leader, Imran Khan would not even be taken seriously. He is only taken seriously because everyone else is pretty much useless and corrupt and Imran is the only honest guy around. But by now everyone would also know that along with his honesty, Imran is also really really not a shrewd politician. He is out of his league.

He is what he is, honest and dedicated to bring change but unfortunately majority in Pakistan are not educated and lacking knowhow.

The problem is that its very hard for him to not think in terms of cricket because that's where he excelled and could lead even lesser players to great heights. The way he provides references and analogies from his playing days and applies it to the current day politics Pakistan is evidence that he still thinks that he can overcome the challenges the same way he could do on a cricket field.

Unless he realizes that a cricket team is in a way closed loop system whereas politics and political parties are basically open loop systems he will not succeed. There are a lot of internal and external factors impacting it. In cricket the spectators don't take part in the performance of the team but in politics the team performance is solely based on how the people on the outside perform.

In cricket you can carry Mansoor Akhtar in the team believing that he is Vivian Richards lite when is repeatedly failing or you can keep a talented player out because you don't get along with him. In cricket the weather or luck can sometime come into play to aid you win the ultimate prize but politics doesn't afford you any such luxury.

This is not to say that IK has not learned or changed but seems that some habits die hard. As most smart analysts who are realists have recognized, he is not a good judge of personalities and still doesn't understand the finer points of Pakistani politics which is dirty at most times. Most of these same analysts have said that these weaknesses can be overcome by recruiting a team of shrewd, efficient, realist, honest and competent political operators. IK has failed to do and repeats the same mistakes over and over and over. Though what we don't realize is that it is very hard to find people with the qualities I listed above who would like to partake in this dirty game called Pakistani politics. Still the captain would have to re-focus and reconstitute his core team that can zealously connect with people and organize well otherwise it be all downhill from here.

I will be short and simple and say that Imran Khan as tough and hard as an iron rod and use it to hammer his point. Our corrupt, inept, inefficient and incompetent electoral system must be improved and every fiber of malpractice, nepotism, favourtism and bribing within it must be eradicated. First thing he must do is to win the rural voters' heart and appeal to them with good policies and not with emotions.

Pakistani politics is as dirty, filthy and obnoxiously smelly as its over flowing gutters and rubbish lying every where. Pakistani have become so used to living in filthy, dirty and smelly conditions that their eyes, noses and ears have become immune to every evil in the society and become a part of it.

Jaeay loog waesay unkay leaders. Choor ka sardar choor hi hoga.

I am not saying that Imran khan should become as dirty and filthy as other politicians but he should get a broom made of sharp steel blades and clean the whole dirty environment prevailing in the country.
