Boosting the confidence of youth, with the aim of making tourism in Pakistan the Engine of Economic Growth Tech Valley Abottabad is all set to launch TVC17. The event is to be graced by the presence of Imran Khan (Chairman PTI) and Mr. Asad Umar (MNA) to evaluate the ideas and give their valuable feedback on it as well.

Abbotabad, which has 80% literacy rate, presents the enticing prospects for the tourism industry, specially after the rollout of CPEC. The core theme of the conference revolves around bridging the technology gap in the industry and empowering the indigenous youth to create entrepreneurial strength and job creation in these areas.
Mr. Umar Farooq, who has more than 17 years of international experience in the Top notch IT firms, returned to Pakistan from U.S in 2013, with a vision of employing his expertise and energies to invigorate the youth of the country to progress and excel in different fields. He has setup a Tech-Startup, named as "Tech Valley", which poses itself as a 'Social Enterprise' creating a social impact by capacity building through training and development. Although, the Start-up is still in its infancy, but has numerous high impact credits on its rolls, including the first ever draft of the KPK's Tourism Policy.
