Youth and surveys are practically nothing. Actually, the vote itself does not mean anything in the present electoral system. Because the "system" supports corruption and rigging so conveniently that only the "electable" can be the only criterion left behind. Money is the only "soul" that runs this system. Do something to change the system before election if you want a "fair and free'' election. Contesting in present day election is an impossibility for any middle class person at all.
I hope you don't mind and give it a little bit of thinking.
