سعودی عرب میں امامِ کعبہ شیخ ڈاکٹر صالح الطالب کو حراست میں لے لیا گیا ہے۔ قطر کے نشریاتی ادارے الجزیرہ نے دعوی کیا ہے کہ امام کعبہ شیخ صالح طالب کو سعودی عرب میں گرفتار کرلیا گیا ہے، شیخ صالح الطالب مکہ میں جج کے فرائض بھی انجام دیتے رہے ہیں، سعودی عرب میں قیدیوں کے حقوق کے لیے کام کرنے والے ایک گروپ نے بھی شیخ صالح الطالب کی گرفتاری کی تصدیق کی ہے تاہم سرکاری سطح پر تصدیق یا تردید تاحال سامنے نہیں آئی ہے۔

دوسری جانب عرب ویب سائٹ خلیج آن لائن نے انکشاف کیا ہے کہ گرفتار ہونے والے امام کعبہ نے حال ہی میں اپنے ایک خطبے میں میوزیکل کنسرٹس اور تقریبات میں نامحرم مردوں اور خواتین کے گھلنے ملنے کو غیر اسلامی قرار دیا تھا البتہ امام کعبہ نے اپنے اس وعظ میں شاہی شخصیات اور حکومتی پالیسی کو براہ راست تنقید کا نشانہ نہیں بنایا تھا۔امام کعبہ شیخ صالح الطالب سماجی رابطے کی ویب سائٹ ٹویٹر پر بھی کافی متحرک تھے تاہم ان کی گرفتاری کے بعد سے ان کے انگریزی اور عربی ٹویٹر اکاونٹس کو بھی بند کردیا گیا ہے، جس سے ان کی گرفتاری کی تصدیق ہوتی ہے۔

واضح رہے کہ سعودی ولی عہد محمد بن سلمان نے ویژن 2023 کے تحت کچھ بڑے اقدامات اٹھائے ہیں جن میں پہلی بار خواتین کو ملازمت اور ڈرائیونگ کی اجازت دینے کے ساتھ ساتھ مخلوط میوزیکل کنسرٹ اور تفریحی تقریبات کی آزادی بھی دے دی گئی ہے اور سینما ہال بھی کھول دیئے گئے ہیں۔

Mashallah what a logic, Imam-e-kaba is appointed by Saudi Government its not like a gadi nasheen holding the family post. So if the governments arrests one of his employee then how would it end the monarchy? I fail to understand your logic. Problem is we have a habit of generalizing everything with so little knowledge.

He challenged existing status quo such as his family, princes, billionaire businessmen etc, started giving freedom to Saudis like allowing women to drive, opening cinemas etc and most of all announing NEOM vision 2030. According to many young saudis MBS is a sign of change. You are just saying saudis will fall one day which i believe will happen too but it has nothing to do with the arrest of Imam-e-kaaba, believe me since MBS have come to power these arrests are being taken as some sort of routine now. A religious leader is nothing before powerful people like prince Al-Waleed who was jailed too and this MBA guy treated him worse than anyone else.

I guess you are right here. People of Saudia, because of their affluence and influence of the west, think that MBS is the change, who is going to pull out KSA out of the dark ages of Islam (pun intended). They think that one day they will be roaming in the streets of Makkah, where they will have FREEDOM like the Red Light District of Amsterdam... Imam-e-Kaaba is just another Religious EXTREMIST for them, getting freaky around the corners.
