I hate pak army.. they eat up whole budget, take full benefit of their powers and let down the nation whenever need. Our education syllabus had been teaching us all false. jub bhi jung howi hai, inhoon ne jote hi khayee hain .. haan military ke jawanoo ki disasters main kafi contribution hai.. that i appreciate eventhough masharaf govt main earth quake per joo donation aya tha, woh sub yeh army khaa gayi thi.. Pak army ka name change kar keh ager disaster recovery cell bun jayee tu ziyaada behtar hai ...

gentlemen cadets are only concerned about their commission and their regiment allotment. Thats the long and short of it. After that, its a race for good ACR reports, chahay CO k jootay bhee polish karne parain. That will lead to recommendations for professional courses, good ranks. AND ITS ALL ABOUT RANKS. If you are not a YES SIR, you will never get promoted beyond major. if you are a YES SIR, you are a general. This is of course generalization and there are occasional exceptions. But as a rule, that is pretty much what it is.

Don't be fooled by the kalaf lagi wardi, the chants of pakistan zindabad and what not. They are as patriotic as any other civilian around. Just because they can fire guns doesn't make them any more angels. There are corrupts among them. They pull each others legs as well for their promotions. You just never hear about it, because its all behind CLOSED WALLS and behind the secrecy of CANTTS where most civilians have no access, not even the so called powerful media.

Once again, exceptions are a rule.
