INAUGURATION OF DRC BANNU AND PAL BANNU


IGP KP, Mr. Nasir Khan Durrani, has inaugurated the newly established Dispute Resolution Council (DRC) Bannu and Police Access Line (PAL) Bannu. Addressing on this occasion IGP KP said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police is striving to facilitate the general public in resolving their issues amicably and provide services at the comfort and convenience of the masses in a respectable manner and without going to the Police stations.


IGP KP highly appreciated RPO Bannu, Mr. Tahir Alam and DPO Bannu, Mr. Gul Afzal Afridi, for their outstanding performance.

POLICE ACCESS LINE (PAL) BANNU


Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has established Police Access Lines (PALs) for facilitation of the general public in every district of the province. Now people visit PALs to resolve their day to day issues without going to Police stations. The staff of the PALs are properly trained to provide services to the people in timely and respectable manner. PALs offer one window corporate style services to people which include:

(1). Theft Reporting (2). Lost items reporting (3). Extortion reporting (4). Child lost and found (5). TIF Form and Rental Agreement Reporting (6). Police Security Clearance Certificate (7). Police Character Certificate (8). CNIC Verification (9). Vehicle Verification (10). Legal Advice (11). Women counter (12). Traffic license and excise document attestation.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION COUNCIL (DRC) BANNU


Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has launched Dispute Resolution Councils (DRCs) to facilitate the common man in getting his petty issues resolved amicably through an alternate process of restorative justice involving members of the civil society.


The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has an age old tradition of resolving disputes amicably through the intervention of elders. However, the infestation of militancy and terrorism in this area, not only disrupted the law and order situation, but also destroyed a strong tradition of dispute resolution through reconciliation. With a mission to revive this revered tradition of dispute resolution through restorative justice, KPK Police has taken this initiative of Dispute Resolution Councils (DRCs).


DRCs are effectively providing free, fair and fast justice to the people in need.
