As per your request I tagged Marvi on this thread. I m sure she is going to prove SS wrong as 100 MWe powerplant can generate more than 100MWe because of better efficiency.

Idiot sharif , 100MW is the output of the solar park, not input. and output of every machine is calculated after incorporating all losses and hence the efficiency.
Lets say effiecincy of Your plant is 18% then amount of input solar energy required roughly would be:
so 18%= 100MW/Input
Input= 555MW
This 555MW is the amount of solar energy that should fall on the solar panels combined to get an output electricity of 100MW

Failure was BOL TV, Solar Park is not a failure, we all know what it's capacity will be and when it will cross break even mark.
For the first ten years the cost of producing each unit will be expensive as it will include the repayment of loan on which the site is being built, but after ten years that cost will drop down significantly.
In return Pakistan will get a huge asset, innovative technology, access to clean source of very cheap energy. Apart from that these projects will generate not only direct jobs in those relatively poor areas, but will also open windows for all sorts of other avenues for people to get their livelihood.
Punjab doesn't enjoy the natural gift of water, like KPK does, from which it could make cheap electricity. So each indigenous project will cost dearly.
But the doodles will never understand this.
