I do not see anything wrong in that...
If he has done something for poor, then it is ok to praise him or his efforts....
But just for the sake of establishing a connection, this piece of news is not good enough.....

Its nothing wrong to have link with Malik Riaz. Getting involve in illegal work with him is a crime.
He is a known businessman and he has links with thousands of people. For example Hamid Khan who is PTI leader but he is also Malik Riaz personal lawyer.

I know a lady whose husband needed a liver transplant, needed 5 million for the same at Apollo hospital. She somehow managed to get her application forwarded to Malik Riaz, he got all expenses submitted in hospital's account and the person got his transplant. Many other anecdotal examples too for the same man.
As said by some other members, it is not wrong to help the poor but going too far in criminal activities, is wrong.

This is mafia. Musharaf had connections with him, Zerdari and shsarifs as well. Ch. Nisar have been consistently against him, because both are from same area. Recently, it have been well rumored that he funded PTI's Pindi jalsa as well.

Yar His good works are known by lots of people but what he did wrong or criminal, is hardly known... Please if someone knows or has proofs of his criminal activities then post it here... As far as I know, Malik riaz started almost all of his schemes in areas where there was no population, no agriculture etc and just dry hills etc... How much do you think such land would be costing? If he would have been deceiving people, how the hell he developed so many phases in so many cities and so called poor nation fighting with each other to even get a form for application in Bahria town... Happily paying 5000 for application as well..... The thing is we cannot see someone getting successful... its in the jeans of our people to create a conspiracy theory out of everything and to doubt on everyone who has achieved something... we as a nation are gone cynical... Even if he utilized some loopholes in the system, it is still his genius to grow to such an extent....
