Yes but it is not that simple. If this had been so simple, Pakistan would have been already the best economy in the world as we as a nation are good talkers and planers. This Atif Mian guy is really a gem and he predicted every problem Pakistan will face beforehand. Alas, Khan saab was so Phuttoo on his appointment issue and did not take a courageous step when it was required.

Yes but it is not that simple. If this had been so simple, Pakistan would have been already the best economy in the world as we as a nation are good talkers and planers. This Atif Mian guy is really a gem and he predicted every problem Pakistan will face beforehand. Alas, Khan saab was so Phuttoo on his appointment issue and did not take a courageous step when it was required.

By the time Khan Sahib took over the government, it was too late. This picture emerged in 2012 and the government did nothing to stop the default at that time. That was a good time. That was the reason why I wanted IK in government but Kayani rigged the election. In 2018 establishment did not try to stop IK from making the Gov. They knew it is coming but its too late.

The connection is that PDM had a claim that lower prices weren't bad for economy(regardless of international prices), so why they couldn't maintain the economy as per their claim with the same prices?

It wasn't IK that ruined the economy. He kept the prices lower with a plan to go to Russia for cheap Oil. So all in all it was the PDM beggars who ruined the economy, because they had no plan to go to Russia and the only plan they had was increase in prices, and they also delayed the decision which caused bleeding of the Rupee value, so the inflation got doubled due to higher petrol prices as well as lower rupee value.
