This is it. America wants a compliant state, they require week and feeble rulers like Nawaz Sharif. We as a nation must stand with the current PTI government to defeat this foreign influence. Imran Khan is against the neo-liberal ideology/concept and they will do anything to bring him down. Media example is in front of you.

What you talking here are two different things. Despite rampant Islamophobia in US and West, people still want to go out and work there to make their life better, because of there laws even as a labourer or Taxi driver one can make their ends meets and save some money. You are able to get good health facilities etc which are non-existent in Pakistan if on low-income.
Secondly, geopolitics is different. Under Nawaz Sharif, Dar borrowed heavily from IMF without reforms knowing it will be impossible to run the country without international donors and IMF assistance for any government in power. They left the country on the verge of bankruptcy.
IMF was happy to lend these crooks money knowing they don't have the ability to pay back. This is a classic debt trap. American wants a compliant state, this has been their policy and will remain. They cannot stand leaders like Imran Khan, who can challenge there position or have an independent opinion.
