Once upon a time, Mubasher Lucman was in Dunya News, he and Mehr Bukhari did a paid interview of Malik Riaz. Back in those days Malik Riaz was against Chief Justice and GEO was supporting Chief Justice and any voice against CJ was considered to be a crime. After the interview, GEO released the interval discussions of Mubasher Lucman, Mehr Bukhari and Malik Riaz. Naturally, Mubasher Lucman had to face a lot of embarrassment. It was back then that Mubasher Lucman decided its either him or PML N and PML N's media cell GEO NEWS.
Once upon a time, Nazir Naji was in Jang News. Naji is a famous lifafa journalist. He was on Nawaz Sharif plane and wrote Nawaz Sharif's last speech in 1999 hours before Nawaz Sharif government was removed. Such was his loyalty and closeness with Nawaz Sharif. On the scandal revelation, Naji had to bear a lot of embarrassment. After a while Naji left Jang News and joined Dunya News as Group editor of Dunya Newspapers. Ever since that day Naji has decided that its either him or PML N and PML N's media cell GEO NEWS.
Once upon a time, Sheikh Rashid was in PML N. After the 1999 coup, he joined Musharraf and remained with him till the last days of the dictator. After Musharraf left power, Rashid tried his best to join PML N again. However, Nawaz Sharif in his arrogance rebuffed him time and again. Then Rashid made his own party and contested the 2013 elections in conjunction with Imran Khan. After the elections, Imran Khan was in hospital due to his accident and the first session of the Parliament started. It was in this early session that Javed Hashmi said: Nawaz was my leader, he still is my leader and he will remain my leader. And it was in this session that Sheikh Rashid did a very friendly speech in front of Nawaz Sharif and everyone thought that Sheikh Rashid would ditch Imran Khan and join PML N again. After the speech Rashid went to Nawaz Sharif and tried to shake hands with Nawaz, but Nawaz turned his face away from him. It was very embarrassing for Rashid and back then he decided that its now him or PML N.
Most of the staunch enemies of PML N and its media cell GEO NEWS have been created due to the arrogance of GEO and Nawaz Sharif.
