How Javed Choudary Plagiarized My Work

When Imran Khan gave the call for Civil Disobedience, I wrote an article titled "Imran Khan's Declares Sharif's Government Despotic and Dictatorial In The Eyes Of Foreign Lenders"

Imran Khan announced Civil Disobedience Movement on 17th of August. I spent 3-4 hours of the night researching and writing the article and published it on 18th August 2014. Everyone, who has not read the original article should do so now.

Immediately after writing the article, I shared it on twitter with each and every Anchor person and each and every PTI leader including Imran Khan. Back in August, I was not a member of Siasat.pk and have had difficulty signing up. So I sent an email to Adeel asking him to share the article on this forum as well. Pasted below is the text of the email:

3 Days after writing the article, a friend of my friend shared an article on Facebook. This article was written by someone named Javed Choudary. I informed that distant friend that I wrote this article. Who is this Javed Choudary person and why has he put his name on my article. He informed me that Javed Choudary is a big media person in Pakistan and you should contact him and ask him to give you credits for the article.

What Javed Choudary did was took my article, edit it a bit to remove the discussion of ODIOUS DEBT from the article. Remove my name and instead put a line at the end of the article stating:

Credits: Anonymous.

I was naturally upset at the situation. No person would want someone else to take credit for his work. And what Javed Choudary did was plagiarism, plain and simple. So I sent an email to Javed Choudary, on the email address listed on his website to either take down the article from his website or put it up in full with proper credits. The email is also pasted below:

Almost a month has passed, but till this date, Javed Choudary has neither taken down the article nor put it online in full with proper credits. Javed Choudary talks about civilized societies. If a journalist, do such a thing in a civilized society, he/she would be fired immediately from his job.


Update:

1 Day after posting this thread on Siasat.pk. I was contacted by people managing JavedCh.com and the article on the website has now been updated and is an unedited version of the original article. It also contains proper credits to me.

Here is the chronology of events:

18 Aug 2014: I publish my article on Facebook and Google docs.

21 Aug 2014: Javed Choudary plagiarizes it on his website and shares it on his facebook page. Before Javed Choudary, there was no other version of this article anywhere on the internet. Which clearly means that he read the original article and purposefully edited the article and removed author name etc.

23 Aug 2014: I sent a DMCA notice to Javed Choudary. Almost a month has passed and he still has to respond to it. If it would have been USA or any western country, I would have sued the **** out of him.

17 Sep 2014: I posted all this information on Siasat.pk.

18 Sep 2014: I was contacted by the administration of JavedCh.com and they have now updated the article to an unedited version of the original article and have also given me proper credits.

Thanks to the admin of JavedCh.com and many many thanks to Siasat.pk.

This is pathetic and needs to be fixed. They should know the consequences of plagiarized work and one should not get away with this. I actually did a 'diff' [ http://www.text-compare.com/ ] and its almost 97% same except the changes OP has pointed out.

Under the title it says : BY JAVED CHAUDHRY AUGUST 21, 2014. However, credits are meant to 'Anonymous'.

The whole point of the thread was to explain that Javed Choudary is not that civilized and upright as he claims.

Javaid Chaudry did not need to to plagiarize this daft piece of junk. The one who is operating his website and has posted the junk there has clearly mentioned Credited to Anonymous. Those images were leaked like a couple of years back. And those pics were taken during his Europe Trip. I really doubt that PTI has anything to do with it.
