How can KPK become an industrial HUB without a seaport????

In one of the previous thread, people argued that KPK could not become an industrial hub because it does not have a "seaport". We know that there are a lot of countries in the world that became technologically advanced without a seaport. Switzerland and Austria are just 2 of them.

However, lets assume that seaport is quite crucial for industrialisation. Are there industries that can be set up in KPK that does not require a seaport???

Off the cuff, here are some.

2. Aviation
3. Agriculture
4. Natural gas and petroleum (through long pipelines)
5. Electricity (through dams and wind power)
6. Tourism
7. Mining
8. Pharmaceuticals
9. Forestry

So What if there is no seaport, where there is will there is way. china is totally landlock but still controlling the world economy.

But didnt we heard news of ferries for River sindh so that could be another way of finding solution, yes i agree river cant be used for big ship but I have seen many cargo boat being used in river thames when i was in london. So again where there is will there is way.

Now coming to the theme of the thread, i suggest
- Mining industry (marble and precious gems are in abundance in KPK)
-Pharmaceutical industry (lot of medicinal plants are there in the mountains of KPKn e.g. sadabahar , used for cancer treatment)
-Agroprocessing industry (transforming products originating from agriculture, forestry and fisheries) : Here i want to add one point that KPK, FATA and Balochistan are the most suitable locations for olive orchards.. this area is not exploited at all.

For all that we need to invest in our human capital and tranform our economy to a knowledge based economy.

The only realistic options may be Tourism and Power Generation (Dams)...
Dams will require time and Tourism will require terrorism eradication...But both can be done and are very local to the province which means have the least dependency on any external resource.
