How can I download Youtube videos for free

Previously I was using Realplayer to download Youtube videos , which was quite easy ,, since realplayer don't work for that purpose , can any one suggest an easy and free way to download Youtube videos to my computer..



supplementary : I just bought a new Laptop and it has windows 8 ,,, OOOOffffffff i hate it... I have change the desk top to window 7 ( classic shell) but even then I hate it......

If you want to download from android download tubemate its not availble in market searh its apkon google an on iphone ipad jailbreak download app protube and if you want to download on computer download idm its better than all other softwares like youtube downloader

Install firefox browser and install an add on youtube mp3 podcaster , it will allow you to download as a video in mp4 and also flv format and you can also download as an Audio mp3

If you are using a Android mobile phone then search google for Tubemate app

i am also using Windows 8 & i love it... for enjoying windows 8 you need to do some search for shortcuts to handle windows 8. for this purpose it would be nice to download Pokki start menu for windows 8 (here)

Many Youtube users prefere the "IDM" Internet Download Manager to download Youtube Videos & their best experience with IDM... i would go with IDM too...

Internet Download Manager (click here to Download), you need to click on "slow speed download" button in order to download IDM for free.. and wait for a while then download it.. after installing IDM never update IDM even if IDM ask you to update it.. then never update it because it is activated version of IDM which i just gave you a link.. if you update IDM it will no longer be able to work properly.. so let IDM as it was... means never update IDM then you would have no problem at all during downloading videos not only from youtube but also from others video uploading sites just like tube.pk



if you don`t have access to run youtube directly then you can Open Youtube site by proxy website,, just like www.proxfree.com and www.q22w.com just paste the link of Youtube URL and download the youtube videos by IDM
