In the UK over 90% of total council properties consist of high rise buildings & most of them are over 35 stories high...!!!

In china , I have seen they are demolished many scattered towns near big cities and replaced them with high rise buildinge and provided hospital, school and basic necessities within walking distance.
This way they have provided basic facilities at door step and avoided traffic and saved fuel etc.

And I might add. When you build vertically that's when you develop an underground transit rail or an Orange rail in our case, where a maximum number of people get to utilize that transport system. And not having to walk for miles or take a rickshaw to get to rail or bus stops. You don't then have to subsidize either, it would be self-sustaining, in fact, be profitable, and then help expand the lines further into suburbs of the cities.

Agreed.. Those countries who have less open land ereas.they have to build high rise building.. but the countries who have enough land ereas..they should have restrictions on high rise building...They can make...5.. max 10 stories building where they needed..

Demolish all the kachiiii abadiiii , make high rise buliding , all space left make parks , schools , gym, hospitals , mosque etc......... for kids
