excellent initiative. This is how people in the UK who can't afford to pay bills on regular tariffs are opting for prepaid meters. This should be done for gas and water too!!

In aus people can sell electricity to govt. In that system we only need to purchase solar pannel, there is no need of batteries for that system . And that system is very cheap as well. I think pti can finish electricity problem completly from country by adopting that system. Also people benefit not to pay bill for whole life

Yes, I saw this and was amazed at how the system works, a person knows exactly how much he is using and spending on electricity and no sudden shocks at the end of the month too or burden of lump sum payments, pay as you go, exactly like a prepaid sim card.

This will be a great initiative introduced in Pakistan.
