our police and army (specially low rank staff ) really deserve more than what been announced ,we should really appreciate their efforts as they are doing a great job for RS.20000-30000 per month and chance to be killed is quite high. to be honest if some one offered me a job of RS 100000 with a risk to be killed even below 0.001 % even then i wouldn't be ready to go for that job.

So here is my problem with PTI : Good intention, dumb moves.
Shouldn't the hiring be based on Merit?
The better step would have been:
All 300 would be taken care of for medical and educational expenses. Additionally they will be trained/educated in their strengthens and are guaranteed to get a job with the Government ... Is this too much for PTI leadership to grasp? What dumb dumbs!

Jobs should only be given ob merit. Even the Chied minister has no right to by pass the system of merit. Ager faida dena hai tau kisi aur tareekai sai do

جناب حکومت پاکستان کے طرف سے یہ ہے کے اگر کسی بھی سرکاری( ا ب تو غیر سرکاری ادارے وں میں ) ادارے میں کوئی شخص نوکری کے دوران انتقال کر جائے تو اس شخص کی جگہ اس کے بچوں کو نوکری دی جاتی ہے تا کے اس کے گھر کا چولہا جل سکے ،اور یہ اخلاقی طور پی بھی لازم ہے ،میں ایک پرائیویٹ غیرملکی کمپنی میں کام کرتا ہے اس کا بھی یہی طریقہ کار تھا اگر کوئی جاب کے دوران بیماری سے یا ایکسی ڈنٹ سے کسی بھی ملازم کی وفات ہو جاتی تھی تو وہ اگر کوئی اس کے بچوں یا بہیں بھائی کو اس کی قابلیت کی بیس پر نوکری دے جاتی تھی ،مگر اس پریکٹیس کو پیسے لیکر کسی دوسرے کو نواز دیا جاتا تھا کیونکے سب سے زیا دہ حادثات کا شکار پولیس والے ہوتے ہیں ،الله نہ کرے کسی کے ساتھ ایسی کوئی ایکسیڈنٹ ہو مگر جو کچھ ہمرے ملک میں یتیم اور غریبوں کے ساتھ ہوتا ہے الله رحم کرے،یہاں پہ ا پ کو میرٹ یاد آتا جہاں پہ غریب کے حق کی بات ہوتی ہے اور باقی ملک میں تو جیسے میرٹ کے بغیر کچھ ہوتا ہی نہی ہے

Have you ever heard about word "reserved seats"?Hope u would have,
and your question about merit ,yes there is merit too if number of applicants will exceed 300.

bro just to explain you bit more thousands of police men died during this war on terror and same thousand of police recruited every year, just to reserved 300for those who died honestly like nothing.

My brother in humanity, I understand your point. However we have higher expectations from PTI. Taking care of Yateem is our responsibility and Allah Pak love who do. There are two issues here. I expect the state (PTI in this case) to take good care of these yeteems which includes taking care of their well being, education, training and guaranteeing a job. PTI led state has all good intentions but their implementation details lack any intellectual vision, which is why I do NOT respect them. Fo rme the choice is between corrupt (PPP, N, MQM, ANP etc) and incompetent (PTI). I find both kind hard to follow or appreciate. PTI CAN distinguish themselves, but they lack desire to change or the commitment required. They need to hire intelligent people to run the show from within Pakistan and Overseas. Parvez Khattak like leaders are lifeless and unable to change anything.
