Gilani praises Imran Khan for speaking against rigged elections

LONDON: Former Prime Minister and senior PPP leader Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani has praised the role of PTI Chairman Imran Khan for strongly raising his voice about May, 2013 general elections and by saying that they were rigged.

Talking to media at London airport, former Prime Minister said that he would like to congratulate Imran Khan on speaking against the elections.

He claimed that Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) made use of bogus votes to become the ruling party of Pakistan.

Talking about the possible cases in NAB, Yousuf Raza Gillani said that he has gone to jail in the past and won’t hesitate to go again.

Responding to a question about PPP, he said “Our party has been driven into controversies and Chairman PPP has been left alone”

In the mean time, on reaching London, he was welcomed by PPP UK’s representative Syed Shehzad Kazmi along with others.

لندن: سابق وزیراعظم یوسف رضا گیلانی نے کہا ہے کہ پیپلز پارٹی کے خلاف سازشوں کا جال بچھا کر صدر آصف زرداری کو تنہا کر دیاگیا ہے۔

لندن میں میڈیا سے بات کرتے ہوئے سابق وزیراعظم کا کہنا تھا کہ مسلم لیگ(ن) کو انتخابات میں بوگس ووٹ ڈالے گئے، انتخابات میں دھاندلی کے خلاف آواز اٹھا کر عمران خان نے عوام کی ترجمانی کی ہے اور اس بات پر عمران خان کو مارکباد پیش کرتے ہیں۔ یوسف رضا گیلانی نے کہا کہ وہ اصولوں پر کوئی بھی سمججھوتہ نہیں کریں گے، ماضی میں بھی کئی برس جیل میں گازارے ہیں اور اب بھی جیل جانے کو تیار ہیں لیکن نیب کیسز پر وہ اپنے موقف سے پیچھے نہیں ہٹیں گے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہماری جماعت کے خلاف سازشوں کا جال بنا گیا اورصدر آصف زرداری کو تنہا کر دیا گیا

Seems Gillani was tricked by two persons .

Rumour is that Nawaz till end assured Gillani of support to Saraiki province and even might have agreed to his son becoming first CM.

Zardari was not interested in two PPP heads i.e the sindh head and the saraiki head and used sariaki province to blackmail interested military and got rid of both threat of province and Gillani in possible final deal

. Babar Awan another unwanted rising star was crushed between Zardari and Gillani choppers to mince meat which can then only be used for Kebabs!.

Gillani though a lawyer never understood the game well and praised that one "lady" gave evidence and men did not (male -babar), he did not understand that while Babar was prolonging SC case as lawyers do whilst preserving himself and PM , the new attorney Aitzaz wound up the case in a seemingly prearranged quick fix and testimony of lady was directed both to save Zardari and herself and Babar (working under PM) and rather incriminated Gillani - by saying "PM rejected the summary and asked a similar one to be made afresh".(Meaning both her and Babar were obeying and Gillani was calling the shots )

Nawaz long wanted Javed Hashmi off the bus , later's insistence on Saraiki province CM for someone close to him was probably denied , being promised to Gillani's son of the imaginary saraiki province . Off went Hashmi , off went Gillani , off went Babar .

Thats like asking the weather report from a coal miner. Why dont you ask the relevent department the ECP and SC they can easily investigate how much rigging there was, this is not the matter of any individual party but a matter of concern for the entire nation. The one who wins will always say that there was no rigging and the one who loses will say there was rigging, but we need to be sure and investigate because it is a serious matter.
