Gilani files review petition against disqualification

ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani filed a review petition against his disqualification by the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Saturday here, Geo News reported.

The former premier was sent packing for not complying with the apex court 's orders directing him to write a letter to the Swiss authorities for reopening graft case against President Asif Ali Zardari.Gilani personally came to the Supreme Court for filing the review petition, which was earlier sent by post and returned by the SC Registrar with some objections.Later speaking to the media outside the Supreme Court, Yusuf Raza Gilani said that he has resubmitted his review petition personally after meeting the SC Registrars objections. He said that he has filed the petition after consultations with his legal expertsGilani said that he took the stance that the President enjoyed immunity under the constitution and the Speaker of the national assembly also endorsed his view.He said he took the decision in the capacity of the prime minister and he was punished individually, as he personally was the loser as a result of the disqualification verdict. He said Aitzaz Ahsan did his best in his case, despite the verdict being otherwise.​

faiz poetry is good.but I don't think we ever will "daikhain gay!".as this nations majority does not want any reform...few days ago a guy belonging to same sect as gaylani almost attacked me when I talked him about "Gay"laani familys record breaking corruption and no one supported me !

Gilani is responsible for increase in Wheat price taking it from Rs. 400.00 to Rs.950.00 in one shot giving his fellow Jagirdars more money in their pockets and depriving millions of Pakistanis from very basic food needs. There has been hundreds examples of his stupidities. In the USA; prices of bread has increased only 10% in 30+ years. When we use American technology and know how in Medicine, Engineering, Finance, Business, Hospitals, Music, Clothing, and many other areas, then why not in Governance Model???? Gilani MUST be banned for life; who is a corrupt and incompetent parasite in Pakistani politics.
