All arrangements were finalised by the District Municipal Corporation (DMC) for the burial of legendary singer in the Shah Muhammad Shah graveyard of North Karachi where he was laid to rest.
Administrator DMC Central Muhammad Nazir Lakhani, along with other officials, visited the graveyard and reviewed all the arrangements.
The ghazal maestro passed away at the Aga Khan Hospital on Wednesday after a protracted illness.
Besides lighting and cleaning arrangements, the DMC Central has also set up camps on all roads leading to the graveyard.
