Irshad Ahmad Haqqani was a very senior columnist of Jang. died in 24 January 2010, He wrote a column on his meeting with Gen. Ashfaq pervez Kiyani.
Its a worth reading column. and this column became little controversial when judges restored on order of Kiyani. Irshad Haqani was the best columnist as per my rating. this column published on 10, January 2009 in jang.

why on earth army chief calling selected journalists and talk to them only, if he has guts and so called good natured and feel pain of his soldiers , why not letting the investigation being made of abbotabaad and PNS event. Let law investigate of such tragic events and punish the culprits. Why he is so dumb that no special security of High security areas , red zones.. why all three valuable aircrafts were standing in a row and not scatered

His duty demand such acts not talking to his selected journalists.
