Game on Hai - Media's Goals, Maryam's eligibility

Since Yesterday the poodles of PMLN in Pakistani media have started to spread the idea that "Maryam" is only involved in this case and not the other two cases. If she is cleared in this case, she would be allowed to continue in the politics.

Some like Kamran Shahid started to float the ideas based on some comments from you know who, Ather MinAllah during the hearings, that Maryam should not have been an accused in this case at all.

Add this to the comments made by Justice Ather MinAllah that it is no crime to provide false and fabricated documents to the highest court in the land. How this man reached to the status of a High Court Justice is a different story! In this story the name of CJ Iftikhar Chaudhry comes to mind. And with this reminder comes to mind the fact whose Poddle he was. In yesterday's program of Kamran Shahid another associate of Choi, the white haired, over excited advocate from Quetta concurred with Kamran that Maryam should not have been dragged in to the current case.

All this is pointing to the fact that all the efforts have started to mislead innocent and uneducated Pakistanis that a great injustice is done to Maryam. Trying to pave the way for her return to the Politics and her leading PMLN.

What is not disclosed to the public are the facts that all three of them, including Maryam are convicted criminals.
That they are only granted bail and not exonerated.

That even in the appeal the High Court can pardoned the accused, but cannot set the judgement and sentence awarded by the NAB accountability court aside.

After all said and done, all three would remain convicted criminals and as such Maryam still disqualified for 10 years.

Just for food for thought, in yesterday's program of Mubashir Luqman it was revealed that even before the judgement was made,
- The supporters of PMLN were asked to gather.
- Shahbaz was in the Jail, even though the proceedings were going on for few weeks, during which he wasn't present. Somehow he knew in advance, that the decision would be made today and what the decision would be.
- That the "Machalikas" were already issued, i.e. Bail bonds. How these guys know what would be the judgement of the court before the judgement was made!!

All this is a food for thought for Pakistan. Like I said the game on hai.

I think Nooras have achieved a major milestone, they have got enough fuel to last 2-3years on these falsely created predicaments and their paid media will keep the hype on and stories going. It's only a start like thawing the ice but I am pretty sure they will gain lot more from this. Only way for IK is to do major reforms in Judiciary and civil service and do them quick. If they bring in legislation to be to fire civil service if required that should bring some discipline .

PMLN is split into 2 schools of thought, both at the official, and follower level. At the official level, majority favor Nawaz Sharif. At the worker level, majority favor Shahbaz. So for Maryam to survive as a head, she would need the support of the workers who favor Shahbaz. That may be a tall order.

She can only milk her stint in jail for sympathy to an extent. Wont last very long

I predict this all will eventually end up in Supreme court

No doubt PMLN will spin this as "they are innocent", but IF PTI govt performs, this will have little bearing on next GE

This comment alone is enough to clarify everything. Even a simpleton knows perjury is a criminal offense, let along perjury in the apex court.

I think the High court can overturn the accountability court verdict, not just pardon them. In fact, I expect them to.
I predict this all will eventually end up in Supreme court

No doubt PMLN will spin this as "they are innocent", but IF PTI govt performs, this will have little bearing on next GE

I think there is a SCP verdict on appeal based on a verdict given by Peshawar High Court. It sets precedence, but the NAB prosecutor didn't use his arguments properly, the consensus of eye witnesses is that he didn't wanted to and deliberately let the situation get out of hand to given Sharifs relief. He could have easily negated a purposefully line given by two judges in these hearings. In the supreme court the decisions of Islamabad court would be overturn.
