Former Pakistani cricketers praise India for money: Sehwag

Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag believes Pakistani retired cricketers are attracted by big money and this is the reason they are working in India and praising the players a lot.
The former right-hand batsman specifically targeted former Pakistan fast-bowler Shoaib Akhtar during his conversation with stand-up comedian Vikram Sathaye.

“Shoaib has been praising Indian players a lot these days,” exclaimed Sathaye, to which Sehwag reacted: “That is because India main business chahiye (they want business in India). They know India is a huge market for cricket. If they talk good about Indian cricket, they will get business.Sab paise ka chamatkar hai yeh (it’s the power of money).”
Moreover, Sathaye also mentioned former Pakistan right-arm quickie Rana Navedul Hasan.

“Rana Naved is also talking a lot of good things about our cricket,” remarked Sathaye, to which Sehwag said: “He may be taking a cue from Shoaib, hoping that Star Sports or someone will pick him. You see all these former Pakistani cricketers want some business from India.”
Furthermore, Sehwag said that his kids would always tease him if they ever lost to Pakistan.

“My kids would tease me a lot if we lost to Pakistan,” recalled Sehwag. “They would be worried about their friends teasing them the next day in school. So, imagine the pressure on me from my kids when I used to bat.”

Indian mentality at its best, this is how sick there mind has become, if someone from Pakistan praises there team they even think that of as money making trick instead of a honest observation of a cricket expert, it means others in the world cricket also praise Indian team to make money or this special mindset is only reserved for Pakistani cricket experts who analyse cricket based on team performances..

But its true- not only in case of Pakistan but its a Universal phenomenon. Now Indians in USA or UK praise the USA /UK for the same reason. Americans & Englishmen working in ME do the same. They praise the Arabs all the time. But back in their own country they have a totally different opinion:)

شاعر اگر آج اِسی شعر کو لکھتا تو کچھ یوں ہونا تھا کہ​

جی بالکل یہ صورتحال کسی ایک مخصوص شخص یا جماعت کی نہیں بلکہ رویہ بدلنے کا ایک ایسا مشترکہ عمل ہے جو متعدد دفعہ بارڈر کے اُس پار سے اِس پار نظر آجاتا ہے۔ ایسے ہی چند کردار ہماری کرکٹ ٹیم کے سابق سپر اسٹار بھی کہلاتے ہیں جن کے بارے میں بھارتی ٹیم کے جارحانہ بلے باز ویرندرا سہواگ نے ایک سچ اگلا ہے۔یوں تو اِس بات سے انکار نہیں کہ سچ کڑوا ہوتا ہے لیکن اگر یہ دشمن کے منہ سے نکلے تو اس کڑواہٹ میں مزید اضافہ ہوجاتا ہے۔

اب جبکہ یہ معاملہ میڈیا کی زینت بن ہی گیا ہے تو کیوں نہ اس کو جانچ لیا جائے کہ یہ اصل میں ہے کیا؟تو جناب قصّہ شروع ہوتا ہے کرکٹ سے اور ختم ہوتا ہے کرکٹرز پر، بھارتی کھلاڑی وریندر سہواگ کے مطابق سابق پاکستانی کھلاڑی اس لئے بھارتی ٹیم کی تعریفوں کے پُل باندھتے ہیں کیونکہ اِنکو بھارت میں بزنس، پیسہ یا پھر ٹی وی پر جگہ چاہیئے ہوتی ہے اور اس معاملے میں جس کھلاڑی کا نام لیا ہے وہ کوئی اور نہیں راولپنڈی ایکسپریس کے ٹائٹل سے مشہور سابق فاسٹ باؤلر شعیب اختر ہیں، لیکن مزے کی بات یہ کہ وہ شعیب اختر پر نہیں رکے بلکہ وہ تو یہاں تک کہہ گئے کہ جن کو موقع نہیں ملا وہ بھی بھارت آنے کے لیے بے تاب ہورہے ہیں جن میں سرِفہرست محمد یوسف، ثقلین مشتاق اور رانا نوید الحسن ہیں۔ مزید یہ کہ اُن کی زبان اب بھی چل رہی تھی اور وہ یہاں تک کہہ گئے کہ پاکستانی کھلاڑیوں کو اگر بھارت میں ایک لاکھ روپے بھی ملیں تو یہ رقم اُن کے ملک میں دو لاکھ بن جاتی ہے، اور اِس سے بڑھ کر کسی بھی کھلاڑی کو کیا چاہیے۔

اگر آپ کے اندر تھوڑی بہت بھی حب الوطنی ہے تو آپ کا دل کررہا ہوگا کہ سہواگ کا منہ توڑ دیا جائے، لیکن میرا پُرخلوص مشورہ ہے کہ ایسا کرنے سے پہلے ذرا اپنے کھلاڑیوں کی حرکتوں کا جائزہ لے لیجیے جو وہ بھارت میں بیٹھ کر کررہے ہیں۔ انٹرنیٹ کی سرحدی حدود کی قید سے آزاد دنیا میں چیزیں، بیانات اور اسکینڈل چُھپے نہیں رہتے۔ منظرِعام پر آنے والی چیزوں میں بھارتی میڈیا کے درجنوں پروگرامز ایسے ہیں جن میں شعیب اختر وہاں کے اینکرز اور فنکاروں کے ساتھ مل کر پاکستانی کھلاڑیوں کا مذاق اڑاتے اور بےعزتی کرتے ہوئے نظر آتے
ہیں۔

Too be honest I think retired cricketers should be living in PK pr somewhere else not India. Mainly due to the tensions between both countries, as for them staying for money yes it seems to be true but they also enjoy it there.
