Five TTP militants arrested in Lahore

LAHORE: Five militants belonging to Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were arrested by Lahore police on Friday, during a raid in the city.

CCPO Lahore Aslam Tareen, during a press conference, confirmed the arrests of the TTP members. He also informed that a large cache weapons and explosives were recovered from the suspects.

Tareen said that the country is in a state of war with the Taliban, and although they cannot guarantee that incidents of terrorism will not take place in the future, the police is trying its best to take preventive measures.

Different measures are being taken by the police to maintain peace during Muharram.

Our media is very immature, they conclude the things at their own without consulting experts, who knows what weapons are those, and how silly is the statement that suicide jackets are not live, how the hell u can expect that police will carry live jackets in such gathering.

They must have defused these weapons prior to putting them on table
