PM wears dress wroth of $ 70,000
ISLAMABAD (SANA): Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has dressed up lavishly as he wore the get-up worth of $ 70, 000 including a wrist watch of $ 50,000 for the meeting with the TV anchorperson held few days back, a claims TV anchor person.
Posing question on his lavish dressing, a female anchorperson drew PM Gilanis attention towards his dressing and very precious watch while the country is begging for the aid to facilitate Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the relief camps, on this the PM replied that if he could wear precious dress then why could he not wear an expensive wrist watch, the anchor person said.
When asked that why he was wearing so expensive watch when President Asif Ali Zardari also directed the ministers not to wear expensive dress, the PM said that he could wear expensive watch when he was wearing the suit.
According to an estimate, at least 4,000 water cooler and more than 12,000 electrical fans could be purchased with $ 70, 000, but it was the dilemma the ruler as they never cut their budget short for welfare of the people.

No compromise on style for MPAs of dried-up Punjab
LAHORE: They may not have any money in the bank to start the new fiscal year, but this is no reason for the members of the Punjab assembly to compromise on style.
It was only recently learned that the Punjab government currently faces a debt of Rs485.706 billion, owing to poor revenue collection, large spendings on subsidies and the expenditure on the wheat procurement program.
