One can understand that he must have taken a Sanad from a Madrassa, which Musharraf allowed it to be considered equal to BA as JUI was an ally, without any formal qualifications like Matric or Inter. But how did he sit in BA exams without having a Matric or Inter certificates?

Wonder what will happen to JUI becasue if SC gave verdict that no Sanad issued by a Madrassa is equivalent to BA, all of JUI including Moulvi Diesel will be kicked out of assembly.

Its a crime of moral turpitude and should be prosecuted aggressively. Media has done their job. Now its up to the "independent" judges as to how they take it and how much time is required to solve that issue. This could also be an acid test for the supreme court as to how impartial they are since all political parties are involved.

Another MNAs degree found fake

ISLAMABAD: The degree of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) member of the National Assembly (MNA) Nauman Langrial has been declared fake on Sunday.

According to a private TV channel, Langrial was elected to the National Assembly from NA-163, Sahiwal. He had obtained his BA degree from the Punjab University, which now had been proven bogus.

Earlier, the degree of his father, Iqbal Langrial, was also declared fake. Iqbal was elected to the Punjab Assembly from PP-226, Sahiwal and had provided a degree of an unregistered seminary, which had been declared invalid.

Three more lawmakers found possessing fake degrees

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party continues to lead the fake degree holding lawmakers as the Higher Education Commission (HEC) declared three more legislators to be holding fake degree.
Those found to be possessing fake degrees included Amir Yar Waran, Jawad Hussain and Iqbal Ahmad Langrial.
The PPP continues to top the list of fake degree holding lawmakers with 13 followed by PML- Q (12) and PML-N 11. Dawn
