Well if you watch western crime series: BONES, NCIS:los angeles HD, NCIS HD, CASTLE, HAWAII FIVE-O, CSI:miami, CSI:crime scene investigation HD, SOUTHLAND HD, THE CLOSER. (HD= high definition). In those series technology is 90% real. They have machines to test hands, cloths and shoes , if you had handled explosives. If you inhaled something it will come out in piss. Scanner to do body check.
But to find terrorist gene is not possible. But maybe sweat testing can show many things.
When you fire a gun, it spread many things on your hand i.e gun oil and very small particles of bullet.

well you might be right ..but i am working in a security solution last 10 years .. we installed sonar , raders, and these thermal and cctv cameras etc.
on army intallation and heigh profile petro chemicals sites.

with all my expirence i believe that there are technology like he mention with glasses that facial recognition system is new in this industry.. and are installed
on many places there are other heigh profile technology but not like he mention .. the public installation is rare.

you can easily carry any explosive in airplane by passing the security scanners thats why they are not allowing you to carry liuids ..

yes dogs are there who can smell explosive like k9 have .. etc

anyhow what he is saying is only making aur people desprate and there is no benifit by underestimate our people.
