Kashmiri sirf khana jantey hain chahey wo paisa ho ya khana, sochna in kay bus ki baat hi nahi, or waisey bhi ziada khaney waley ki soch khatam ho jati hay, ziada khana khaney kay baad dimagh waisey hi ghanoodgi mein chala jata hay, phir sirf sapney aatey hain koi kaam ki soch nahi aati

Most of the thermal power plants in India are coal based and away from water shores. Indian Railways is earning alot due to coal transportation and this sector has helped it most to recover losses. Pakistan has abundant coal reserves in Sindh, Punjab and Balouchistan while load centers are near central Punjab so Sahiwal is best location for coal plant alongwith Jhang, Muzzafargarh and kasur . Most of the under developed countries will keep on using coal throughout this century as its cheap and generates numerous jobs. http://www.mapsofindia.com/maps/india/thermalpowerplants.htm

Indian plants are mostly installed near coal reserves. They mostly use their own coal and not imported one. Indian railway is 10 times more advanced than ours and has capacity to service coal plants. Pakistan railway would have to invest as much as the cost of a coal plant to be able to transport coal to Sahiwal. Punjab does not has coal reserves other than a few which only produce enough coal for cement industry. Transport cost to Sahiwal will increase the price of a unit by 1,75 rupees as compared to the price of such a plant if installed near to Karachi. This extra cost of unit calculated over the life time of this plant (35 years) accumulates to 368 billion rupees.
