Pakistan is the only nation which is so backwards that when Abdus Salam won his awards he was shunned by the Qaum. Then when Malala did something she was shunned. Then when Sharmeen won her oscars, the qaum shunned her as well. Bhutto was convicted and hanged - but he gets the title of shaheed. Then when Mumtaz Qadri killed an innocent man in cold blood - he was convicted in a court of law and hanged - he gets respect? lol
Such a stupid qaum deserves all the hell they get. Shayad koi ghada bhi khara ho jaye to usko bhi kuch hazaar Pakistani mil hi jain ge.

I am with the one who speaks the truth. What Sharmeen said and showed is the truth. I know it. I live in Pakistan. What Malala said is the truth. I know it. I live in Pakistan. These are the truths of our nation. If they lied about something then sure I would say they are in the wrong. People publish documentaries about the US social system. The abuses that go on. You as a Pakistani already know that Pakistan has a HUGE lack of justice in their society. A Huge Vacuum. Why not support that which brings some level of Justice to these victims of Pakistani crimes? Sharmeen's documentaries highlight the victims, this is not justice but it is something for the victims. You feel bad that you country is being portrayed in a bad way!? Then do something to fix the issues, not hide the issues. Not highlighting the plight of these people is an injustice in itself.

2 words: Wider Audience. If I was making a documentary on the plight of Pakistanis I too will make it in English for the simple fact that it will garner a wider audience. And look, she won an oscar again. An Oscar is no joke. Yeah I too feel bad that such things exist in our country, but unlike you I feel that these are truths which are evident and something needs to be done about them. Before you fix any problem you need to accept that there is a problem.
You can use all the labels you like and put them on people as you see fit if that makes it easy for you to segregate your own people. But it doesn't hide the fact that these are truths of our society. Why does your ego get hurt so easily when the truth is said? This is the ONLY justice these victims will probably ever get in Pakistan. A documentary. And as one of my friends once told me - God is with the Truth.

America ka 1 Dollar = 100 Pakistani Rupee. America also has far greater spending power than Pakistan. The idea of such documentaries is the highlight the plight of such victims, to highlight the mass injustices being done and to create awareness that this part of the world needs improvement and support. Judging by the Pakistani reaction it would make very little difference if it was done primarily for Pakistani awaam. The Awaam has shown many times that it is dysfunctional. Case in point look at the Qadri extravaganza these days. lol. Aise logon ko primary importance nahi deni chahiye, baad mein koi translation dikha deni chahiye aur phir bhi rotay rehte hain to rondu keh kar aur chirhana chahiye.. hahah just joking. The 1st World will pay a lot more money and be far more effective at this than the Bruised Ego Pakistani awaam.
