Pak loses Rs240 bln worth of water due to lack of dams
Pakistan lost water worth Rs240 billion due to lack of dams and water reservoirs in the country.
83% of Pakistans total water comes within the short period of 80 days. Instead of utilizing this vital resource (water) for the welfare of our nation (irrigation needs, drinkable water, electricity, ), due to mismanagement, we are suffering huge losses from floods every year (loss of human lives, properties, infrastructure, and agricultural).
