Don't Forget Benazir Corruption: oil for food scam

Today everyone is bashing Nawaz and family, rightly so, but don't forget Benazir also set up a company after receiving the back handers in UN's oil for food program in Iraq.

I know we are very short sighted people in Pakistan, but the fact of the matter is Benazir was a corrupt politician too not only Zardari. I always make this point on this forum, and also state that Bilwal cannot do anything good either he has Haram running in his blood.

Rehman Malik is also involved in the Scam.

A committee set up by the United Nations under former head of US federal reserves Paul Volker found in 2005 that Petrofine FZC paid US$ 2 million commission to the regime of Saddam Hussein to win oil contracts worth US$115-145 million. I doubt it. I have already suggested that Pervaiz Rasheed would do a press conference immediately after IK's announced PC. In his recent PC he has already accused IK for working against the progress of Pakistan under Nawaz. We can only see Pakistan progressing in corruption and debt.

Any how, their line would be like this;

This is all legitimate and legal investment by Sharifs. Nawaz son already accepted it in the program a week ago. Giving them now plausible cover that we have already declared it. Like I said before in a comment, the transactions in the name of his children saves Nawaz directly.
I am sure they are going to give the crap on the issue like his son did in the TV program. I am certain of it.

Most educated Pakistani's know that the Nawaz and Zardari families are corrupt but
the problem is nothing gets done about it. The courts, NAB and Army are all in their
pockets, as long as these guys get their share nothing will happen.

Zaid Hamid used to talk about how RAW are promoting Modi and they bought him into
power. Why can't our ISI do this instead of bringing these corrupt b@stards again n

actually there could be a mustufa kamal in pmln. somebody made a thread about it earlier but i dismissed this idea. But now i recall that a few days ago nisar chakri and chota tkla met raheel shareef for 3 hours. Now if it was just to discuss the operation, it is unlikely the meeting would last 3 hours. Clearly there were some wheeling and dealing going on. so far shehbaz sharif's name is missing from the leaks. Is he setting himself up to overtake pmln?

I know a Teacher used to teach Mathimatics, French and Arabic to Bilawal, Bakhrawer and Asifa when Benazir lived in Dubai near Jumeira Beach. This teacher was translating the letters comes from Iraq related to oil for food. This teacher told me that she translate the letters from Arabic to English for Benazir.

This lady still teaching in a School in Dubai and can give more information if some one interested

Not sure whether to laugh or feel sorry for you. The story you are calling bogus is an extract from documents leaked/investigated by an international consortium of journalists, published on their website, icij.org. Benazir was a crook, who just didnt get caught, and got the benefit of doubt because of being the wife of a crook, becuase of which all the attention was on her husband, never on her directly.
