PESHAWAR: During the withdrawal of US and its allied forces in 2014 from Afghanistan, it is said that Pakistan could get rid of foreign debt if 10000m dollars given to Pakistan by the US for transporting munitions and other goods worth of 70000m dollars.
US will pay 10000m dollars if these munitions and goods transported from Afghanistan to their country through Pakistan which will put the America into financial crises.
An official of Afghan National Army informed The Frontier Post on the condition of anonymity that the goods under use of NATO forces and their allies would be transported before 2014 from Afghanistan, however, the US wanted to sell the goods to India adding that talks regarding the deal of selling of these luggages was already held between the American sensitive Agency CIA officials and Indian Army officials in Kabul but the final decision was yet to be taken in this regard. These goods, including small weapons, arms, swords, stethoscope of night, ladders guns, torches, combat vehicles, explosive material, excluded the routine uses products.
Sources said that America wants to move more then 40 thousand small vehicles and one lakh10 thousand combat vehicles before December 2013 because snow falling will start after the month of December.
Sources further added that if goods transported through Pakistan it will cost US 10000m dollars.
Defense analysts have said that it would be happening first time in the history that such a huge quantity of war goods transported after war and transposition of theses vehicles and it would also be a huge loss to America economically and this loss regarding moving of these goods would also put the America into the list of poor countries.
Sources added that despite the moving of these luggage, US faced huge finical loss but US government also worried about the fact that after their departure these arms and goods could go to the hands of militants groups that was why American officials handed over the task to President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai to talk with Pakistan for cooperation and Hamid Karzai visited Pakistan few days ago to solve this issue and during his visit he demanded of Pakistan government to cooperate with America in transporting the goods, however, Prim Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif has formed National Security Council which will decide the future of this important issue and to give approval in this regards.
The National Security Council comprises of Senators, Ministers and Army Generals supervised by Army Chief. Soure:http://www.thefrontierpost.com/article/37370/
