DJ Butt is on record in 2 different interviews after the dharna as saying that during the dharna, PTI made its payments on a daily basis, as he had to make daily payments to his vendors......and PTI never delayed any payment. He also claimed to have made a very decent sum off of it.
So either he was lying then, or lying now. My bet is on the latter.
When you agree on rates then you are bound to make payment...
In this case expense for rented Sound system has becomes more than its real cost when you hire it for 120 plus days!!
PTI made a bad financial decision to rent out sound system over entire period, should have purchased the system and hired a DJ would have been a fraction of the cost now payable to DJ Butt

If you are running/Supervising the stuff yourself, And your stuff gets destroyed(due to your negligence of taking sufficient measure to counter rains), then the party is responsible for the destruction?
Yes but i would say if you hire things on rent and supervision is also given to the person who is taking the stuff on rent then the cost of any damage or destruction is put on the party that rents it, but not when things are under your own supervision.

(Dunya News) – Punjab Revenue Authority has slapped DJ Butt with a tax notice of Rs 17.2 million, Dunya News reported.
Butt who shot to fame during Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) sit-in protests said he hasn’t received the notice yet.
According to details, DJ Butt has been served the notice by authority’s Additional Ranjha in which a note was taken of DJ Butt earning of rupees and yet not paying a single rupee in taxes.
The notice orders Butt to immediately deposit the amount to avoid .
Responding to the reports, DJ Butt said he hasn’t received the notice yet, adding that he will face the notice through his legal team. He said if the government wants to take ‘revengeful action’ then it can but “my slogan is still go Nawaz go”.
