DIG suspends two cops in Swat

MINGORA: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Malakand Range Abdullah Khan put under suspension two cops for negligence here on Sunday, sources said.


The sources said that DIG paid a surprise visit to Matta Police Station where two persons identified as Ibrahim from Karachi and Salim from Kalakot were found in police lock-up.


Expressing his anger over the misuse of powers, DIG ordered suspension of the Station House Officer Inspector Kamran Khan and Assistant Sub-Inspector Muhammad Zaib and demoted them to SI and Moharrar ranks respectively.

Excellent! Cops in Pak are to corrupt considering themselves above the law. Mostly the are more guilty then criminals themselves, such cops must be made to pay!
