LAHORE: Four armed robbers managed to escape after they exchanged fire with the police force on attempting a robbery in a house in Rehman Pura in Lahore, Geo News reported Saturday.



According to police, four dacoits clad in police uniform robbed a house in Rehman Pura and were about to leave when the residents of the area called police.



As soon as the police reached the site, the culprits opened fire and after a brief encounter, they managed to flee while taking advantage of the darkness.



Security forces cordoned off the area and started searching for the armed robbers.
