The crisis is certainly not deepening now ,it was already very deep . Pakistan has not ever seen that army chief is unable to solve an issue of power after having taken it up . The discussion that whether PM asked army chief to see IK and TUQ or those two asked to see the chief is immaterial , the fact on ground is that chief took it up and did not solve it instaneously or could not do it .
There is only one explanation , he received in put from contradicting major regional or super powers and he realized that matter is not so superficial and needs review and thought . It might have been thought that while conferring requires time so for the meantime let's get old Baig give statement that IK and TUQ be punished . I have no doubt that TUQ and IK will pay very heavily ultimately . This will do the job of clearing constitution avenue and daily nauches of dance master IK.
As I have been stating before there are two lobbies here , Sunni regional alliance of Saudia, UAE, Turkey and Egypt with slight interest of Israel and China these days .There is the other alliance of Obama-Iran ,france facing this and UK is in between undecided , as a matter of fact there is emerging danger of UK government itself being forced to call early general election .
Pakistan always had good relations with countries of both lobbies and choosing one is really not a good option . The relevance of all of above is that TUQ, IK are working for USA Iran lobby , represented locally by MQM , PPP, sections in agencies , media ,lobby in civil servants esp foreign ministry .UK seems to have good connection with Baluch leaders . Note that yesterday Altaf was singing , today he has ditched Nawaz and joined call for national government ..
Baig sahib in his heart knows who the real players are being anti USA at least in public . He also knows the shia sunni demensions of this issue for Karachi . This issue has the power to divide army itself ,so Raheel has to decide matter within forty eight ours , he has to remove demonstrators within a day if he is not to allow US lobby to take over , he has no time .
