Controversial Statements by Sikh Gurus against Islam and Muslims

The purpose of this thread is to highlight some controversial statements given by Sikh Gurus against Muslims. The first one is by the tenth Guru, who is called Gobind Singh in the Dasam Grant (sayings of the 10th Guru):

"Then I created Muhammed, who was made the master of Arabia.26.
He started a religion and circumcised all the kings.
He caused all to utter his name and did not give True Name of the Lord with firmness to anyone.27.
Everyone placed his own interest first and foremost and did not comprehend the Supreme Lord "

As can be seen this statement by Gobind is totally against the beliefs of the Islamic faith.

The Second statement is by Nanak:

"The clay of a muslim (in the grave after death) falls into the potters wheel. From it vessels are fashioned and bricks made and it cries out as it burns. The poor clay burns, burns and weeps and the fiery coals continually fall from it. Nanak, God, the Creator who made the world, alone knows whether it is better to burn or bury."(Guru Nanak, pg.466)

Also this statement by Nanak is attributed to all Muslims, it does not distinguish between a good Muslim or a Bad Muslim, and this is against our beliefs of Jannah and Jahanum.

So people who think Sikhs or Nanak was Muslim need to properly study their statements which clearly show the ideas they express are not Islamic at all.

Kuch din pehla ma Birmingham gaya tha. Waha Marzayo na bohat zyada proganda kiya hua hai Nanak musalmaan tha etc. Lakin jo first statement woh humara Nabi Ka khilaaf hai. Aur bohat sara log la-ilm ha is sachai sai.

The first part you quoted is from " Dasam Granth " not their " Guru Granth". Many Sikhs believe that " Dasam Granth " is not authentic and they constantly have fights over it.

I don't know the second part it would be good if you quote the words. I have read both of them. I still remember the first quote from Dasam Granth it is a poem of about four page long and quite interesting and funny here is the actual quote.

Yes, you are right the quote is from Dasam Granth, you also right that this is disputed as non authentic. However, a majority of the Sikhs in the UK do follow the Dasam granth.

Yar hum log jab 4 saal ki umer me nursery school start karte hein to wahaan hume sikhaya jata hey ke Musalman wo jo Touheed, Risalat, Anbiya karam, Aasmani kitaboon par yaqeen rakhe, to jo koi bhi in batoon par yaqeen rakhe wo musalman hey or jo koi shirk kare, khatme nabuwat ka munkir ho, quran ko na mane wo musalman nahi, sidhi si baat hey.

More Sikhs outside of India follow Dasam Granth you are right about that most of these people wouldn't know the difference between one and the other usually their preachers goes from one granth to another and very few know the difference.

Watch this one after one minute when the preacher goes one Sri Granth to Dasam Granth a few people notice it and the fight breaks out and most people are confused as to what is going on. I would still like you to quote the second part. I have not read anything in the Sri Granth that is against any one.

I agree lakin ya propaganda kola aam horaha hai, Ka Sikh Muslamaan hai, or bohat sa la-ilm log isko sahi manta hai. Isliya mena ya quotes samana rakha hai.

i am not sure what the books and gurus says about the muslims/islam but sikhs that i have met are very much against muslims,forget about what they say in open,i am an insider and know it from my personal experiences.

brother sikhisim is not a reliogin first of all... sikhs were created by hindus to defend them against afghan's attacks... but later on they came up with this reliogin and if you look at it, it is a mix of hindu n islam. Turban and beard from islam and rest from hinduism...

and their hate against islam is not something new, if you go to any gurdwara they have pictures of muslims killing sikhs. And i personally believe when ahmad shah abdaili won pani pat war he marched again sikhs and he defeated them and killed alot of them, he also slaughtered cows in their holy places according to various writers and these pictures in gurdwara are showing that massacre.
