Free Syrian Army has captured parts of a large Assadite gangs' base in the country's north, just west of the city of Aleppo.

The Army entered the sprawling Sheikh Suleiman base on Sunday afternoon, after weeks of fighting.

The development indicates the FSA is strengthening their grip on northern areas near the Turkish border. Last month, it captured another large base near Aleppo.

Meanwhile, the Alawite gangs carried out an air strike on suburbs of Damascus, the capital, as the FSA clashed on the ground with Alawite soldiers on Monday.

A Russian fighter bomber carried out a raid on Daraya as the FSA and Alawite soldiers fought on the ground, while Russian-made artillery bombed Moadamiyet al-Sham, two towns south of Damascus.

The Alawite air force also overflew Eastern Ghouta, an area where the FSA has set up rear bases amid its orchards.

The Assadites have for several days bombarded FSA strongholds in the suburbs from ground and air, raising fears of a looming ground assault by the Assad gangs to try to establish a secure cordon for them around the capital.

your post is quite confusing....who will emerge victorious? iran or 'innocent' sunnis? for example (Al-Qaida, Al-Nusr group etc.)
