ISLAMABAD: The contempt of court amendment bill passed by the National Assembly late on Monday is against the Holy Quran, Sunnat, justice and the country’s Constitution, remarked Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Khan said that through the bill, the incumbent government are being given a license to loot. The government is itself corrupt and is now involving the bureaucrats as well, he warned.
Khan further said that the bill is not only against the Constitution but also against the supremacy of law, and the judiciary’s independence is being eliminated with it.
He added that the PTI is holding talks to challenge the bill in Supreme Court.
The bill still has to clear the Senate, signed by the president – which will probably be done before July 12, when the court takes up the Swiss letter matter.

Pagal Khan is also a noora now. He just talk talk talk talk and talk.

Pagal Khan supporters used to say same thing against PML(N). Why NS is talking only? Answer is politcal parties can talk only. Political parties are not like militants who can kill people to stop anything.

Political parties can leave assemblies, but not parties like PMLN who have a meter running in Punjab. Who have sat with this government for 3 years, who passed the 18th, 19th and 20th amendment, senate elections and budget where they could have used leverage for early elections but they didn't.

nawaz shareeef phuttu kidher hai ...JUb bhi koi ahem paish raft hoti hai wo bahir bhaag jaata hai..... I have convinced more than 100 pmln supporters to vote for Ik in coming election and trust me i didnt have to work hard... Nawaz ne khud mera kaam asaaan ker diya hai...

PTI is not going to come into power anyway and without power PTI can't do jack. PTI does not have enough street power as it claims, whenever there is a jalsa people come from different cities to make it big. PTi might win 70-80 seats but the next government is PPP-PMLN -MQM coalition or JI and PTI will be the only parties in opposition.

yes a political party can talk and at most do protest... a political party in govt does not talk.. it "acts".. and pmln is in power in punjab.. it does not suit them to talk..instead act.. and other allegations are of past govts.. for which pmln is responsible.. u need to study politics more..

PTI is not going to come into power anyway and without power PTI can't do jack. PTI does not have enough street power as it claims, whenever there is a jalsa people come from different cities to make it big. the political scenario changes very quickly.. specially with free judiciary, and new ppl voting.. this time things will change...

not to forget.. 10 million (1 crore) overseas pakistanis have been given the right to vote, and they r most active and worried about pakistan.. and also majority of them are of voters age.. almost 90% of overseas pakistanis support PTI..

even if 5 million (50 lakh) vote goes to PTI from the overseas.. it will be literally clean sweep.. as in previous elections PPP won by getting almost 1 crore votes..
