The construction of Pakistans second biggest four-wall glass squash court has been started in University of Peshawar (UOP) by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government.

Peshawar is said to be the city of those players who ruled the world of squash for half a century, but this city still lacked quality squash courts.

Keeping this very fact in mind, the provinces first and countrys second biggest four-glass squash court is being made in this city.

Two practice courts have been prepared in the squash complex initially that were inaugurated by Chief Minister (CM) KP Pervez Khattak.

The cost of squash complex will be more than 23 million rupees, and CM KP has also granted 20 million rupees for squash courts.

Players and students also seemed very happy over the construction of squash complex in UOP.

It is also announced to conduct Asian Junior Squash Championship at this court after its completion whose preparations have already been started.
