I just got this in my email want to share. Please be careful & get ur cng cylinders checked.
Please get checked your CNG Tank before its expiry date (Standard age of CNG Tank is 5 Years).

Brother Ajnabi27, if u visit ang CNG station u can see easily that there should be big notice board or banner in which all these precautions will be written. As this is must for all CNG stations to post that notice ( i mean the life of cng cylinders etc etc).. But they donot check dates & expiry when refilling.
So posting banner on the order of govt is just a formality.. Imposing these safety measures is different thing, govt does not care if we die or not. We have to take care of our self & think about safety measures. Jaza-k-ALLAH to those who have emailed me.. I am just cut & pasting on this forum.
May ALLAH save all of us CNG users.. :-)

I got another reply from my freind on this same matter. Please read it & spread to others..
2nd main reason was people don't know that we have to avoid for extra filling of compressed gas (espacially when cylinder ends its life; i.e. 5 years), because it increase the chances of bursting of cylinders. Other important safety measures are we have to off the engine during filling of the Gas and avoid the filling of Gas when family is in car, during filling of the Gas, you have to be out from the Car, these all safety instructions written on each filling stations, but we didn't follow them. Remeber Hydro-Carbon Institute of Pakistan (situated at Korangi - Karachi) testing the cylinder at very nominal charges (~ Rs 500), testing required 2 to 3 days and for 2 to 3 days they will give you new cylinder to be used during this time.
