Once upon a time there was a shepherd looking after his sheep on the side of a deserted road.

Suddenly a brand new Porsche screeches to a halt. The driver, a man dressed in an Armani suit, Cerutti shoes, Ray-Ban sunglasses, TAG-Heuer wrist-watch, and a Pierre Cardin tie, gets out and asks the Shepherd:

"If I can tell you how many sheep you have, will you give me one of them?" The shepherd looks at the young man, and then looks at the large flock of grazing sheep and replies:" Okay. "

The young man parks the car, connects his laptop to the mobile-fax, enters a NASA Webster, scans the ground using his GPS, opens a database and 60 Excel tables filled with logarithms and pivot tables, then prints out a 10 page report on his high-tech mini-printer.
He turns to the shepherd and says, "You have exactly 1,586 sheep here."
The shepherd cheers, "Thats correct, you can have your sheep." The young man makes his pick and puts it in the back of his Porsche.

The shepherd looks at him and asks: "If I guess your profession, will you return my animal to me?" The young man answers, "Yes, why not"!

The shepherd says, "You are a Management Consultant from US AID to Pakistan".

How did you know?" asks the surprised young man.
"Very simple," answers the shepherd.
"First, you came here without being called.
Second, you charged me a fee to tell me something I already knew,
And third, you don't understand anything about my business...

Now can I have my DOG back?"

We think that our country is the most corrupted one.....

An Indian was detained in Bangkok for stealing a box of cigarettes in a duty-free shop in Bangkok International Airport. He had paid for chocolates and a carton of cigarettes. The cashier put a packet of cigarettes extra into his bag and he thought it was a free pack. He was arrested for shop-lifting and the Thai Police extortion price was 30,000 Baht for his
release. He spent two nights in jail and paid 500 Baht for an air-conditioned cell, 200-300 baht for each visitor and 11,000 baht for his final release. The Police shared the money in front of his eyes. On top of that, he was charged in court and fined 2,000 baht by the magistrate and handcuffed and escorted to his plane. His passport was stamped "Thief".
While there, his relatives requested help from the Indian Embassy and was told that they are helpless, many Asians are victimized similarly daily and letters and phonically to the Thai authorities are ignored. He shared a cell with a Singaporean the first night who paid 60,000 baht for his release. The second night was a Malaysian national who paid 70,000 baht.


Mind you this was not in a shanty shop in downtown Bangkok but in a duty free shop at the Bangkok Int'l Airport. BE WARNED. The above is 100% correct information because Mr. Rajan Khera's customer from India faced exactly the same scenario mentioned above when he was in transit at Bangkok Int'l Airport coming to Taipei. Someone who went through the same ordeal in Dubai. He bought stuff at the Duty Free upon entering. The girl at Duty Free put a bottle of cologne in his shopping bag (he did not even see it happen). He was arrested for stealing (this is before he even picked up his luggage). He sat at the airport jail (where he was harassed for the whole day. (NO FOOD, NO WATER) for one day and only after he paid a fine (bribe of US 500...). That is all the cash he had in his pocket at the time. They let him go. These are scams that are happening all over the place.

Please BE CAREFUL! All of this is pre-planned and the people who work at the airport know who to target. Unbelievable but apply caution.... the duty free employees intentionally put extra items to scam the passenger and we think that our country is the most corrupted one.....

Don't sell that cowt ....

The wise old Mother Superior from county Tipperary was dying. The nuns gathered around her bed trying to make her comfortable. They gave her warm milk to drink, but she refused it. One nun took the glass back to the kitchen. Remembering a bottle of Irish whiskey the nuns had received as a gift the previous Christmas, she opened and poured a generous amount into the warm milk.

The nun took the glass back to Mother Superior's bedside, and held the glass to her lips. Mother drank a little, then a little more. Before they knew it, she had downed the whole glass, down to the last drop.


"Mother," the nuns asked earnestly, "please give us some wisdom before you die."

Different perception for sense of existence

The earth is our home which we all share. Her beauty is showing every moment even without our influence but let us take a look beyond our Solar System. Imagine how big we think we are! How big are our problems? Try to wrap your mind around this. Our plant when compared to other objects in galaxy is visible only as a dot.

We all fit inside this little point.
All of our global conflicts and wars.
All of our problems.
All of our greatness and frailties
All of our technologies, arts, creations
All of our civilizations, all of animals and plants
All of our races and religions
Our entire Nation's, countries and their governments
All of our loved ones and hated ones...

Total of more than 6 billions of souls trying to survive from one day to anotherNow stop and think for a while you are alone in this little point and nobody really cares bout your existance. Yet some one knowsHow many hairs are there on your head, who dies and who lives!

With HIM are the keys of the unseen: None knows them except Him. HE knows what is on the land and oceans. Not a leaf falls but that He knows it. And no grain is there within the
darknesses of the earth and no moist or dry [thing] but that it is [written] in a clear record.

As the Worlds largest Oil producer and exporter, with one-quarter of the worlds known oil reserves buried under its sands, the lack of money posed an immediate threat to the status quo of the Monarchy after the Gulf War as reported in The Houston Post dated March 26th 1995.

The cradle-to grave welfare system that provided free health care, education, subsidized electricity & water along with unlimited telephone calls was influx and many Saudis wondered whether social contract for unlimited largesse in return for unrestricted rule will peril?

Debt of Gulf Wars 55 Billion US$ forced the Saudi government to impose belt-tightening increase in its domestic revenues, to finance the Budget. Local phone calls and domestic air fares were raised 20%. Similarly, electricity and water fees were also increased to generate additional revenue. Bankers estimated the foreign debts of Saudi-Arabia at $70 billion at that time and USA offered to provide assistance through IMF, World Bank and American bank but, Saudis refused to borrow on interest and get rid of all their debts within a short span of 3 years. King Fahds personal wealth was estimated to be $12 billion with an about dozen palaces in Saudi-Arabia and Europe. The monarch who ruled as king and prime minister since 1982 had a $60 millions Yacht protected by stringer anti-aircraft missiles and a private Boeing 747 Jetliner.

In September, 1995 nearly 1000people were jailed for resulting from Islamic fundamentalist demonstration of 10,000 people in the central city of Buraida to protest the arrest of Sheik Salman-al-Audeh, an outspoken critic of the Royal Government. There were almost 6,000 Princes and Princesses in 1995. Around 2000 of them were holding any real power.

Compare it with todays Pakistan and behavior of our rulers and their approach towards borrowed money from IMF on harsh terms increasing prices of commodities, petroleum, electricity, gas and even Water while removing non existent Subsidy!

Its an open secret that our governments in succession sell off public services and facilities on though away prices whether democratic or that of an army establishment, against a meek sum of foreign exchange when only the incoming remittances through banking sector (from Pakistans living abroad) is exceeding US$ 6 Billion / annum!

Developments correlate with changes and continuous improvements. Like other developed nations we should also have progressive "think tanks" (not influenced or groomed by any radical school of thought or elements). This forum should be constituted of elite professionals having A+ Credentials and outstanding experience during their tenure of service / life span, with a solid background and they must be all, above 50's because maturity in men is attained after reaching 40,s. Thats why Prophecy is bestowed upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) after attaining an age of 40 years.

My thoughts and suggestions to improve the eroded political structure in our country and to take Pakistan higher among developed nations, is most simple. First, we should admit our wrong approach in dealing inherited infrastructure and depending upon molded brains. Molded brains neither had vision nor an immediate plan to provide relief to the suffering masses braced with enormous financial pressures due to ever increasing utility bills, rise in gas & petroleum prices, water & power shortages, worsening of law & order situation, devaluation of currency, unemployment, bomb blasts in succession & corruption at all levels having no check & balances. All stake holders including beaurocracy, politicians, members of civil society, "Army & Beauracatic" establishments, media, and judiciary are all without any major issues as they are all among privileged elites, who can migrate to safe-heaven as & when, it suits them. As regards Government of Pakistan and our CSS officials, their grey matter characteristically works as said by Robert Frost:-

"The brain is a wonderful organ. It starts working the moment you get up in the morning and does not stop until, you get into the office."

Fake Machine-Readable Passports are instrumental in helping Owners & CEO of Default Industries, Firms & Manufacturing concerns for them and their family members without appearing in Person for genuine passports against payment of Rs.25, 000-Rs.30, 000 for each passport within few days, in collaboration with Passport Office authorities.

Pakistan never had a documented economy for income tax purpose.
