Classic Insult of PIA/CAA Senior Officers Who Delayed Flight for Family Day Out in Gilgit

Today PIA flight from Islamabad to Skardu was delayed for 4 hrs waiting for few senior civil aviation, PIA officers and their families who were going to skardu for a day out / lunch and to come back on same flight giving it a 3 hrs stay at Skardu instead of 1 hr. To their hard luck, a US settled family was at skardu airport who had already missed connecting flight to karachi. what happened next, see the video

I had somewhat similar experince with airblue. I still curse Shahid Khaqan Abbasi from the core of my heart and emotions. We were stuck at KHI airport. I live in Peshawar and my flight from Khi to Isb was scheduled for 4:30 pm. I tried checked in at 2:30 pm but they refused to issue boarding pass and asked me to come back after 1 hr as the flight has delayed. Tried again to check in at 4:00 this time boarding pass was issued. I was asked not to go to gates but rather wait in the lounge on first floor just above the checkin counter.

The flight delayed even further and in the mean while PIA and other carriers left for isb. At around 1:30 am in the night they informed that flight has been cancelled. I dont have any relatives in khi so couldnt go outside as well. There was a man whose sister had died and he was travelli g with family 3 kids and wife. He was crying like hell as he had lost his sister. He had to receive dead body from PIMS and they take her to swat for funeral.

Curse you SKA may you feel the same pain as you made 100’s go through.

My family travelled from pesh and my poor old father and brother waited for me at isb airport for 7 hours and then went to hotel very late at night.

Anyways I booked early PIA at 6:00 in the morning for isb and so did others.

I was at karachi airport taking an emirates flight and those emirates clerk wanted to do everything to stop me from boarding until and unless they get one or two lacs..Shame on us as Pakistanis that we allow emirates thugs to harass passengers at Karachi airport
