[h=1]KP Assembly stuck with a watchman’s appointment [/h]
PESHAWAR: As if it had nothing better to do, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Thursday got stuck with a matter as trivial as a watchman’s appointment to a tubewell in Bannu district.
The matter was later referred to the House’s relevant committee for examination and recommendation.
During the question hour, MPA of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl from Bannu Malik Riaz raised the issue of appointment of watchman for tubewell in Sheikhan Kaki area of the district. He said an outsider had been appointed to the post, which was an injustice to the local people.
The MPA demanded that the matter be referred to the relevant committee of the assembly. Other members of the opposition benches supported the mover.
Minister for Information Shah Farman, who also holds the portfolio of public health engineer, immediately agreed with the mover and said he had no objection if the question was referred to the committee.
Another JUI-F member from Buner district Maulana Mufti Fazal Ghafoor also raised the issue of vacant post of watchman for a tubewell in his constituency. He was assured through a written reply that the relevant deputy commissioner had been issued directives to fill the vacant post.
Question is one of the important procedural devices that empower the members to seek factual information from the government on a matter of public interest and first hour of the assembly’s proceedings is reserved in the rules of business for questions and answers.
However, members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly brushing aside crucial matters including militancy, kidnapping for ransom and poverty held discussion on minor issues like posting, transfer and appointment of Class-IV employees.

Talat is not saying something that is not happening, he is just stating fact, you guys should have the courage to admit the wrongs and be proud of the good. Lekin for some god damn reasons, every one in PTI inlcuding IK(Except to some extent Asad Umer) has absolutely no ability to recognized the problem...

agar PTI govt ki performance ki bat ker raha hai tu phir he should go to KPK and ask people.
I am so surprised to see that a self proclaimed intellectual raised these questions about a report which clearly states that it was MPA's from JUI F group who raised those questions not PTI.
If the questions r raised than they need to be answered. So the blame should go to those who r raising those stupid questions.
These anchors and journalist in Pakistan think they r expert on every thing and know the best than why not contest election and than come and do some thing for ur country
