sasti rotti project

May be people won't agree with me on this point.

I want to criticize the spendings on "sasti rotti" project (scheme) in the Punjab. I heard different figures from different sources that around ~50 Lacs they are spending on this project each day. I ask what we are gaining at the end, to me nothing. People are still committing suicides, parents still can't afford their children, ...

My point is, if we spend this money in creating job opportunities in different sectors, like in creating small scale industries (coping from china) then think how many people becomes able to honorably support their families. Not only this, with this spending we can develop healthy industries in our country and that becomes a continuous source of revenue for us in long term.

May be this discussion brings some thing fruitful. Thanks

There is no doubt that our young generation has to come forward and play their role otherwise these tried and tested corrupt elite will sell this country for few dollars. This political class is barren and need to be wiped out totally, forever.

PPP MNA = When your party come into power, your popularity graph automatically goes down (Such an idiotic statement).
When your party come into power, you get excess to resources and right to make decisions. And when you use resources and make right decisions for people, your popularity graph goes upward. Popularity is not about any party being in power or opposition, it is about how you represent the common masses of the country.
The only solution to get rid of this incompetent political elite is to go out and vote for change.

There are Muslims scientists in American Research institutions but the number is way too low. And if there was any prominent Muslim scientist, he/she would have been on the screen with out any discrimination. I believe your work efficiency talk more than your ethnicity when it comes to scientific research in America or most likely any where in the world. So, we have to accept our incompetence in the field. The argument of having 1 university for 3 million people in the Muslim world and 1 university for about 70,000 people ONLY in the US is good enough to be embarrassed about. What are the reasons behind this negligence? Most of us have the idea and do agree upon it.
And should the credit goes to the US for scientific inventions even if accepted that the number of Asians and Muslims are larger than the natives in the research field? I think, of course it should. All these so called Asian or Muslims scientists do their research work in American universities. They are welcomed to the country.They are provided with best academic and living facilities. They are taught here. They are provided with the opportunity to learn and experiment. And then somewhere, someone comes out with something noticeable. After providing all the goods and the opportunity to work, credit should go to the US. If the same people would not have provided this opportunity they would have literally done nothing. If they could do anything amazing back in their countries, we have more 50 Muslim countries to look for and yet we don't see anything good coming from there.
The last factor of why somehow religion or ethnicity gets credit for any great achievement. I think it is because overall the credit goes to the individual's civilization. If someone comes out with something great in America,the overall credit goes to the American civilization. And religion + ethnicity are among the factors which built any civilization. So, that is why if anyone does anything good in America, credit indirectly goes to the religion of the country. Though religion might or at all have nothing to do with an individual achievement. That is the reason that most of the modern thinkers and scholars give credit to the Christians or Jews than Muslims.
