Tell that to all those millions of poor people who were hoping for better days prior to 1947. Hope alone is not going to do anything good to our country. I think our 65 years of history and experience is good enough to prove my point.

Certainly I would not suggest to become that emotional. But if I be honest with you, in a democratic country where most of people vote based on personal interest and baradari-system, educated minority do not have many options. You can hope all you want but by definition democracy need majority of people to think sanely, which has never been the case in Pakistan, never!! Unfortunately the other option (dictators or as some call them dick-takers) have also b.tt f......d us whenever they got the chance.
