چین کا ‘ایل وائے 80 ائیر ڈیفنس سسٹم’ پاکستان کے حوالے

بیجنگ: پاکستان نے بھارت کی جانب سے کسی بھی ممکنہ جارحانہ اقدام کو روکنے کیلئے فضائی اور زمینی حدود کی حفاظت کیلئے نیا ائیر ڈیفنس سسٹم حاصل کر لیا ہے۔

چین نے پاکستان کے فضائی دفاع کو مزید مضبوط بنانے کیلئے ‘ایل وائے 80’ میزائل ڈیفنس سسٹم پاکستان کے حوالے کردیا ہے۔معاہدے کے تحت پاکستان کو ایل وائے 80 میزائل ڈیفنس سسٹم کی کل 9 بیٹریاں فراہم کی گئی ہیں، جنہیں سرحد پر نصب کیا جائے گا۔ چینی ساختہ نیا ائیرڈیفنس سسٹم میں کم رینج کے حامل زمین سے ہوا میں مار کرنے والے میزائل، نگرانی کرنے والے ریڈار اور ڈرون شامل ہیں۔

رپورٹس کے مطابق سرحدوں پرزمین سے ہوا میں مار کرنے والے ایل وائے 80 میزائل اور آئی بی آئی ایس 150 ریڈار کے پانچ یونٹ نصب کئے گئے ہیں۔
میزائلوں اور ریڈار کے علاوہ پاکستان نے چینی ساختہ رین بو سی ایچ 4 اور رین بو سی ایچ 5 ڈرون بھی سرحد پر تعینات کیے ہیں تاکہ بھارت کے کسی بھی جہاز کی آمد کا پیشگی پتہ لگایا جا سکے۔
یاد رہے کہ ایل وائے 80 میزائل ڈیفنس سسٹم کو دنیا کے جدید ترین ائیر ڈیفنس میزائل سسٹم میں سے ایک تصور کیا جاتا ہے۔ اس جدید ترین ہتھیار کے حصول کے بعد اب بھارت کیلئے پاکستان کی فضائی حدود کی خلاف ورزی اب تقریباً ناممکن ہوگئی ہے۔

Air Defence need a multi-layer defence consisting of short, medium and long range air defence systems.
Until now we are available with short and medium range air defence systems. We are very much behind on the long range platform. We should work with China to acquire those systems as well.
Since india acquiring S-400 will be big blow to our aggressive approach in case of war.

Although there are many ways to evade S-400 but still its a danger.

Pakistan should aim to get the Russian S-400 system.At present it is not possible for Pakistan to buy this system due to cost and Russian reluctance to sell it.However our relations with Russia are improving steadily and I am hopeful Russia will start selling weapons to Pakistan.Turkey is planning to produce S-500 jointly with Russia.We have good relations with Turkey so there may be a small chance that Russia may allow Turkey to sell it to Pakistan.Russia has allowed Pakistan to Russian made engines in Jf-17.There are lots of possibilities.It all depends on future geopolitics.

All we Pakistanis need is fantastic tea fountains on border. Indian pilots will see fantastic tea and they will parachute out of their aircrafts.

I think Medium and short range is sufficient for our requirements, not sure if we face any long range threats... Our main threat is from India and we can and Medium range is enough to cover the border.

India on the other hand needs S-400 and long range defences because majority of their defense spending such as Su-30 and S-400 is not gear towards Pakistan but to counter China. Su-30 and Mig-21s can be effective against Chinese jets but they are not very effective against Western weapons used by Pakistan. This is why they ordered Rafale to counter our F-16s.

Uncle G they did not shoot down the aircraft with ghulails or rifles, they used short range SAMs. As far as I can remember shoulder launched Stingers.

Dear you are right. But long range air defence system brings you the capacity to engage target at more distance and some additional time.
Also for defence of major cities, such as Karachi,Lahore and Gawadar, we need long range systems.
India will also deploy S-400 or Patriot whatever they chose for defence of major cities and sensative installations. They can not bring it directly to battle field.
Short and medium range systems are good for defence of infantry units.

Dear its not LOC. Karachi is near to international border. Also it will be used to defend Naval assets.
